This page describes how end users consent to receive SMS messages from the Nimbus Weather Alerts program operated by Nimbus Watch LLC. It is provided for public reference and for review by mobile carriers and The Campaign Registry.

- Purpose: Deliver lightning detection and severe-weather safety alerts to workers assigned to monitored job sites.
- Message type: Transactional safety notifications (not marketing).
How consent is collected
End users are individual workers assigned to job sites monitored by Nimbus Watch. Consent is collected through a confirmed, double opt-in SMS flow:
- A company enters a service agreement with Nimbus Watch LLC. A site administrator at that company signs in to the Nimbus Watch dashboard at app.nimbus.watch and adds a worker to a job site by entering the worker's name and mobile number.
- Before any alerts are sent, Nimbus Watch sends the worker a single confirmation SMS that identifies the sender, describes the program, links to these Terms and Privacy Policy, and requires the worker to reply YES to enroll.
- The worker is enrolled only after they reply YES. The consent timestamp, message ID, and source are logged. Workers who do not reply YES receive no further messages.
- Workers can reply STOP at any time to opt out and HELP for assistance.

The screenshot below shows the admin's "Add Worker" view in the Nimbus Watch dashboard alongside the confirmation SMS the worker receives and their YES reply.

- STOP reply: "Nimbus Watch: You are unsubscribed and will no longer receive SMS alerts from this program. Reply START to resubscribe."
Message frequency and rates
Message frequency varies based on weather conditions and your job site assignments. You may receive multiple messages during active severe weather and none during calm periods. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Privacy
No mobile information, phone numbers, or SMS opt-in data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent records are excluded from any sharing with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
